This page will give you some information about how to enter the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology of APU, Japan.
Aichi Prefecture is inviting students from Asian countries who want to apply for scholarships and study in Japan. Please go to the official website at https://www.pref.aichi.jp/soshiki/kokusai/aichi-scholarship-program.html. For your information, APU's deadline is 16 April 2021.
It may be difficult for you to enter the Master's Course and Doctoral Course of the IST of APU because the admission examination is basically held in Japanese. However, you can be exempted from a written test in Japanese if you meet some requirements. It means your examination will only be an oral test in English. Please find more details on the official website at https://www.aichi-pu.ac.jp/eng/admissions/index.html.
APU has a Research Student (研究生) system for those who want to enter the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology. It offers an opportunity for up to one year to study both technology and language in a laboratory, so you can improve your technical skills and proceed with preparations for the admission examination at the same time. However, APU provides only an application guidebook in Japanese, and you are required to have JLPT (日本語能力試験) N2 level language skills. The requirements about language skills written in Japanese are below.
Anyway, if you are interested in the system, please let me know. I will send you the latest application guidebook, which is never distributed through the APU official website.
APU has two terms, and each term begins in April and October. I encourage you to prepare for a language examination and a study plan for your April admission because an admission examination is usually held in October. Please feel free to contact me at any time, but an early approach is much appreciated.
